Final Fantasy 13-2 Clock Puzzle Solver
Dude has emailed me saying he’s sick of the Oreba 400 AF clock puzzles so I decided to write a quick little program for it.
I already know there is a bunch out there already but I decided to write one for personal interest.
Hope this will help some of you out there.
Still trying to code a visual aid for it. I will work on it later on. I think the text only version is sufficient.
Update:
Added quick visual aid for the puzzle solver. Just click the red circles in the order specified and do the same in the game. Hopefully many browsers can use it.
Note
I am very well aware there is no such thing as 18 point time/clock puzzles. I’m just testing if my code can handle more and it can.
Tested on: Internet Explorer 9, Google Chrome, Apple Safari. Mobile browsers from Windows Phone 7, Android or iOS should be OK too.

Amazing! Well done on this algorithm
So the issue I found with this is that your image is incorrect. On a 10-slot Hands of Time, you don’t get two side-by-side numbers at the top and bottom. There’s a single top and bottom, and four per side, not two top, two bottom, three per side as the diagram shows.
Thanks for the info. I can’t redo any of the puzzles so I’m not sure how the larger puzzles looked. Appreciate the feedback. I’ll fix up the info.
Wait, what? Your app is about as confusing as the actual puzzles themselves. Very convoluted.
Apologies for the confusion. I’ve tried my best to explain the process of the solution already. If you would like to help me by detailing why you are so confused, I would be glad to help you out with it. If you feel there is too much or too little detail then let me know. Cheers.
Thanks so much for an excellent tool.
These puzzles had me stumped and your solver is really easy to understand and apply. You have saved me hours of head scratching
THANKYOU!!! You’ve just saved me from hours of frustration in YasMass. 100
